Jennifer Burstein
Jennifer
started with Conservation Impact in May of 2003. As project
manager she is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness
of Conservation Impact’s projects and ensuring that Conservation
Impact’s clients receive the best services and products at
all times. She works closely with the consultants to do client
interviews, project research, report editing, and prepare client final products. Jennifer
is also responsible for the day to day operations of the company
including administration and financial management.
Prior to joining Conservation Impact, Jennifer
worked at Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) where she
ran the volunteer clearinghouse. Jennifer
also managed the Youth Conservators Initiative at
VOC which placed youth in outdoor stewardship programs
around the state. During her last three years at VOC, she
served as the director of development and communications.
Jennifer was responsible for foundation and corporate donations
as well as individual membership. Prior to her work at VOC,
Jennifer was a backcountry ranger in Denali National Park
where she did environmental education and resource conservation
work.
