New Strategic Fundraising Services Available!
Conservation Impact is pleased to announce the hiring of Karen Buck. Karen joins us as an associate providing a full array of consulting and training services, and will be significantly expanding our services in resource development, fundraising audits, strategic resource development, and in building organizational fundraising capacity. Karen’s hiring fills out our Integrated
Strategy approach that we use to help our clients go to the next level of success and sustainability.
Karen brings great “in-the-trenches” experience. She has created strategic fundraising programs, managed and evaluated special event operations, and was responsible for membership, annual campaigns, grants and major gifts throughout her career. Karen uses a solid relationship building philosophy which extends to all supporters. She is adept at engaging both board and volunteers in the fundraising activity.
In addition to her fundraising experience,
Karen brings twelve years of program development and nonprofit
management experience. Karen has worked with a variety
of local and national nonprofits, most recently for an
institution related foundation of a local community college,
where she specialized in donor communications and stewardship.
Karen has also held key fundraising and
management positions with health, human service, and civic
engagement organizations.
She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master’s degree with honors in nonprofit management from Regis University.
With her fundraising background and expertise,
Karen can help our clients address their strategic issues
